Mapping and Tracking Progression
We offer structured curricula with clear progression and milestones. Students enrolled on our graded music courses progress through our Learning Map. On sign up, Learners are assessed to determine at what point they begin or continue their Learning Journey with us.
They are enrolled on a course that is best suited to their stage of learning with the right balance of challenge and fun.
Each lesson aims to cover the following five components: Listen, Explore, Apply, Review, Notate (L.E.A.R.N), with the goal of developing musicians with strong performance as well as theoretical skills.
We teach onsite, online and on-demand
We teach onsite in our physical locations, online via live video lessons and on-demand via tutorials on our online academy. We use a combination of synchronous and asynchronous teaching methods for all our students. We have invested in digital infrastructure and modern teaching resources which enable us maintain our standard of teaching regardless of whether lessons are taken in-person or virtually. Virtual lessons enable us to provide tuition outside traditional geographical boundaries. They also mean tuition can continue uninterrupted if travel isn’t possible for any reason.
KMC Staff are all passionate about music. They enjoy what they do and are very willing to pass on their knowledge and skill. KMC adopt recognised standards in their curriculum. They work at the individual’s pace.
